How do you get album artwork on your iPod?
Q. I downloaded some songs from LimeWire and saved it and opened it with iTunes,and synced them to my iPod.But some of the album artwork doesn't show up on the coverflow.And I tried Get Album Artwork,but some albums still don't have the album artwork.What do I do?The Coverflow doesn't look right to me with some of the album covers missing.

A. You can copy and paste the artwork yourself into iTunes. Find the album artwork image online somewhere (Amazon and Wikipedia are two good sources for the artwork). Once you find an image that you like, right-click the image and choose Copy. Back in iTunes, select the entire album. To select the whole album, click the first song, press and hold the Shift key, then click the last song. Right-click on the selection and choose Get Info. In the box for Album Artwork, right click and choose Paste. This will apply the artwork that you got from the internet to the album. When you update your iPod, the changes will be applied. By the way, ripping the songs directly from the album is not going to do anything top help you get the artwork.

How can my daughter have her artwork accepted by calendar publishers?
Q. My daughter's artwork which comprises studies of nature for her GCSE art course is superb and top of her year. Can she submit her work to calendar publishers or manufacturers and how would she go about this?

A. She can try ... they tend to only accept very commercially artists, I'm afraid, people who have already proven themselves. However, there's nothing stopping you from using software to create your own calendar, which you could print out and assemble and give to family and friends as very special personal gifts.

How do I put artwork on a PDF template file?
Q. For album artwork, I need to put scanned artwork on a template on a PDF file. What program/software should I use and how would I do it? I was given templates to put album artwork on. They are PDF files and has templates for the actual CD and the album artwork. I'm planning to scan the artwork after it is done. I need to submit the artwork on these PDF templates and am completely lost how to do so.

A. First, what are you using the scanned image for? If you need to place the image onto a PDF template, you'll need to either save it as a PDF, or save it as a JPG/GIFF/TIFF and place it onto the PDF file. You could use Photoshop or Illustrator to do this. ...I'm not sure how to answer your question, could you be more specific? Ok, scan your image and save as a JPG. Then right click, or apple click the file, and Convert to PDF. Then you can crop the file (if needed) and save it as a PDF. Hope this helps you! :-)
