How much could I charge for shaping a custom surfboard?
Q. I am planning on shaping surfboards soon, and I know big name surfboards can sell for the $500-$700. Since I will be new at this, would it be realistic to charge $400 for a board if I do a quality job?

A. Your $400 estimate is a bit high. I assume you already have a manufacturer ready to sell your boards plus you have some name recognition in the area you plan to shape in. If you don't have this first, breaking into the market is very difficult. I think there are more shapers around then work shaping boards right now. The best way to break in as an unknown is to start your own surfboard business and see how your boards sell. At least if they sell you can get them into circulation quickly. How much you charge really depends on where you live and if you specialize in longboards or shortboards. Big name shapers like Takayama, Walden or Greek charge a bundle just because of their name. Where can you go to get a really good eyebrow shaping?
Q. All the salons I've been to get my eyebrows done really havent done the great of a job. Since eyebrows shape your face i'm really trying to find a really good shape for me. Do they have books or videos on this?

A. communism split the region north south - Korea, Vietnam etc. Geography wise the mountains and flood zones split India, Pak, Bangladesh from the rest. China and Russia influence the north In the south Indonesia is huge and has resettled people from Java to Medan. Malysia and Singapore split cos of the huge malay / chinese differences in population the British commonwealth impacted greatly: India, Singapore, Malaysia etc.
